I looked through course offerings at San Jose State school of library science.
Library 2.0 provides a fast and somewhat superficial journey through some current course topics.
I personally am grateful for the (somewhat superficial) knowledge and confidence I have gained.
Will I take this knowledge forward with me--I hope so.
Even more timely to me is gaining a sense of where libraries overall are headed. And knowing that in another year or two everything will be different or at least the labels will change. What is next???
We (library staff) are here to serve our public--this is the constant; this is the unchanging challenge we face.
